That's right... my no break streak is over... The push-ups in today's Upper Fix got the best of me. Then my legs just couldn't hang with the Scissor Twists. However, the only real break I took was during the push-ups, the Scissor Twists I had to modify a little bit. I even made it through both rounds of the Forearm Planks, believe me those are no fun.
Another thing I have to mention about the breaks I took during the push-ups is that when my arms started giving out I went into downward dog, caught my breath, and then went back at it as best I could. When that didn't work I went for the modified version (on your knees) still having to go into the modified downward dog to take some pressure off my arms and shoulders. So, even though I took breaks, I pushed through as best I could. Not totally disappointing, but I hope I do even better next week.
Tomorrow is, wait for it, leg day (aka Lower Fix). I'm curious to see how well I do. I know I mention that I hate leg day and I do, but there is one thing I do know about working out your legs. Once your legs get in shape those workouts become a lot easier and I have to say lunges are not as bad as they were in the beginning. So, until tomorrow, stay true and push through.
I know I went a little over today. That's what I get for not paying attention to what I eat.
