Birthday Weekend

For anyone who read my post last week, my wife and I went to Breckenridge for the weekend in celebration of my Birthday and our Anniversary.  This weekend was my actual Birthday weekend.  It was pretty simple because all the excitement was last weekend.  We went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Texas Roadhouse.  I got the 8 oz. Dallas Fillet with a loaded baked potato and a side salad with fat free Ranch dressing.  And I had two rolls… they are so good with their cinnamon butter .

My wife got me a orbital sander I have been wanting for a while and a new addition my Man Cave, an original Kramer.

My kids got me another great addition to my Man Cave, Khaleesi (Daenerys) riding Drogon Pop Doll!!!   Freaking awesome right!  It’s Khaleesi riding Drogon!  I’m into to Pop Doll’s by the way…

My Dad and Step Mom hooked me up with a new circular saw and blades for it which I’m pretty syked about too.  I like to do little wood projects here and there.

So all in all, not a bad birthday.  Breckenridge with my baby, good dinner, and new “spoil me” stuff.

I’ll tell you what was just as awesome though, I made it through leg day this past week without a break!!!  That’s right, I pushed through and made it to the very end without having to stop for a breather once.  I wanted to, believe me I wanted to.  I didn’t let myself though and, man, am I so happy I didn’t.  I hope I can do it again this week.  I almost made it through Cardio Fix too, but those damn burpies, gets me every time.  I will say that for Cardio Fix that is the only one I had to break on, just the burpies, made it through everything else which is still an achievement for me.

At the end of the week I lost two and a half pounds, basically all the Breckenridge weight.  Also, this week would be my last week, but I’m going to another week due to the Breckenridge trip.  I didn’t get that whole week in and, honestly, I don’t know I’m quite there, mentally, for 21 Day Fix – Extreme yet.

Until next week everyone, stay true and push through.
